Special thanks to The Portland Foundation for helping fund new equipment in the concession area. Because of their generousity we have been able to purchase a new refrigerator, hot dog machine, nacho cheese dispenser and a popcorn popper.
Youth Activities
2025 Winter Basketball League registrations are being accepted 12/2/2025-1/17/2025. Game days are 2/8,2/15, 2/22, 3/1, 3/8, 3/15. Practice days will be announced later. Registration forms are available at West Jay Community Center or can be printed by clicking the button below.
Adult Activities
Ping pong is played every Wednesday at 11:00 am. All are welcome. Cost is $1.00.
49+ Club
Come and join us for Euchre on Mondays. Doors open at 12:30 pm. Games begin at 1:00pm. Cost is $1.00.
Fitness
Pound Power meets on Wednesdays at 7:00pm. Come join Rebecca Dibble Condie for this fast paced class. Cost is $5.00.
Senior Fitness Classes are held on Wednesday and Friday at 10:00am in the Multi-purpose room. Cost is $1.00 per person. Equipment will be provided.
Purdue Extension is offering Dining with Diabetes on Tuesdays February 4, 11, 18, 25. This free 4-session class offers a practical approach to eating well. Multi-Purpose Room
(Seats approximately 135 people)
2 Hours - $60.00
Each additional hour- $25.00
Rent our Multi-Purpose room for your special event. This room seats approximately 135 people. We have rectangle tables, round tables and chairs available for use. There is a smart tv and podium are available for media use. This room has been used for family reunions, bridal showers, birthday parties, tea parties, movie nights, dances, Senior meetings, business meetings, and holiday dinners. Please schedule an appointment with Pam to view and reserve this room.
Kitchen
Limited use $25.00
Our full service kitchen is equipped with a stove, two ovens, microwave, sink w/garbage disposal, and refrigerator/freezer. The kitchen can be rented as an add-on to the Multi-Purpose room or Conference room.
Gymnasium
2 hours - $100.00
Each additional hour - $40.00
Conference Room
(Seats approximately 40 people)
2 hours - $50.00
Each additional hour -- $20.00
The gym is used for birthday parties, graduation parties, family reunions, wedding receptions, and holiday get togethers. This room features six basketball goals. The gym floor covering with tables and chairs is available for an additional cost. Please schedule an appointment with Pam to view and reserve this room.
The Conference room seats approximately 40 people. This room is used for business meeting, small bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, memorials and graduation parties.
Rentals are on a first come, first serve basis. A contract along with a $50.00 deposit is required to hold the date and time for your event.
Members in good standing receive a 10% discount.
